A better tomorrow
Tomorrow is formed today. To contribute to a better tomorrow, our focus lies on making changes where we can make the largest difference.

Through passion, a winning attitude, and hard work, we are determined to run a business with the deepest respect for nature and people and give value to our most important person – you, whoever you are, who depends and relies on us. We will never give up.
Key focus areas
Reduce environmental impact
At Björn Borg, we are committed to reducing our climate impact in line with the Paris Agreement. Our goal is to cut emissions by 50% by 2030, using 2020 as our baseline.

By 2025, we have achieved our Scope 1 and 2 emissions target, reducing emissions by 73% compared to 2020, mainly driven by an increased share of renewable energy in our own retail stores.

Scope 3, our largest emissions category, decreased by 9% compared to 2024, but increased by 9% compared to 2020, primarily due to higher production volumes. At the same time, emissions intensity improved, with a 6% reduction in emissions per produced unit compared to 2024. This was driven by an increased share of preferred materials and significant progress in renewable energy use in our production.

Reducing emissions remains a top priority across our operations. Our focus areas include accelerating the transition to renewable energy across the supply chain, increasing the share of preferred materials in our collections, and improving logistics efficiency. We have also strengthened supply chain transparency and advanced our work on water-saving dyeing techniques.

Secure social compliance
At Björn Borg, we are committed to ensuring fair and safe working conditions across our value chain. We work closely with our suppliers to uphold high standards on labour rights, human rights and ethical business practices.

In 2025, we maintained full compliance with our social audit requirements, with 100% of tier 1 factories covered by valid audits. We also continued to strengthen supply chain transparency, reaching 100% in tier 1, 91% in tier 2 and 74% in tier 3. All suppliers are required to follow our Code of Conduct, based on international standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and ILO conventions.

Our approach focuses on continuous improvement. Through regular audits, supplier engagement and corrective action plans, we work to identify risks and improve working conditions across the supply chain. We also support suppliers through training and capacity building to drive long-term progress.

Securing social compliance remains a top priority. Our focus areas include strengthening supplier partnerships, increasing transparency beyond tier 1, and promoting fair wages, with the ambition to reach 100% living wages in tier 1 by 2030. We also continue to enhance grievance mechanisms and ensure that workers have access to safe channels to raise concerns.

Our whistleblowing system is available to both employees and external stakeholders, ensuring that concerns can be raised safely and confidentially. No confirmed incidents of corruption or data breaches were reported during the year.

Maintaining compliance and transparency remains a top priority. Our emissions 2023
During 2023, the company further geared up its sustainability work. The data we collected was more exact and extensive, giving more realistic measurements, analysis, strategy, and goals.

Thanks to factual data regarding e.g., material usage, supplier energy usage and waste, we have a deeper under standing for our climate impact, production, and transports. This has enabled sharper analysis and goals and a more targeted strategy and roadmap.

UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 icon — Good Health and Well-Being with heartbeat and heart symbol on green background
Good health and well-being
Stress, work environment and work safety are important areas not only within our supply chain but also among our own staff. Every individual working for us should feel safe and well treated. A healthy work/life balance is at the core of our company values, and healthy living with regular training is part of it. This is the core of our culture, not only at the workplace, but also for our followers and consumers out there.

Security-wise, we supervise that our chemical regulations and quality directions are followed for personal safety for both workers, employees and consumers. Our products should be safe for both people and nature.
UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 icon for Decent Work and Economic Growth on dark red background
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
We work persistently to improve resource efficiency in our own production, but also in consumption through better designs, better qualities, and recyclable products to contribute to a longer product lifespan. With better planning and digitalization, we can achieve more efficient usage of raw materials and achieve cost-effectiveness in different parts of the supply chain.

Through our code of conduct and policies, and regular controls thereof, we take active measures to eradicate forced and child labour, to protect labour rights, and to promote a safe and secure working environment as well as fair wages for every person working for us – no matter where in the world.
UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 icon for Responsible Consumption and Production on gold background
Responsible consumption and production
This is the most important SDG for Björn Borg. It summarizes a big part of our sustainability work. Almost everything we do can be linked to this goal: usage of preferred materials and production techniques; the control and follow-up of our code of conduct and sustainability policies with respect to human rights and our environment; securing better and fewer chemicals through restrictions and controls; our work with achieving increased transparency in the supply chain; designs and qualities optimized for a long product life; the facilitation of, and information around, recycling of packaging and products; structured routines and reporting within the organization, as well as raising consumer awareness of a more sustainable lifestyle.
UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 icon for Climate Action featuring globe motif on green background
Climate action
We have worked on reducing our emissions ever since 2014 and accelerated the work every year. We have committed to decrease our GHG emissions by 50 percent by 2030 from a 2020 benchmark. We work actively with improved efficiency throughout our whole supply chain; from designing long-lasting products, increasing renewable energy in production, and lowering our transport emissions in all parts of the business.

Through our systematic work for change and follow-ups with all stakeholders, we educate and raise awareness on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and impact reduction.
UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 icon for Peace Justice and Strong Institutions on blue background
Peace, justice and strong institutions
Through our code of conduct for suppliers and our internal code of conduct, we oversee and enforce a safe, healthy, and equal work environment to detect possible occurrences of human rights abuse, corruption, or embezzlement. We run a transparent business where we promote a culture in which anyone, within or outside the company, feels safe and is encouraged to act and report any wrongdoing related to our operations.
