Last October, Björn Borg received the world’s first-ever Healthy Business Award during the HR and leadership seminar Healthy Business in Stockholm.
The Healthy Business Award (text in Swedish) puts the light on companies that with a strategic health and work environment engagement create requisites for staff to be sustainable over time.
The jury’s motivation
Björn Borg is a company that links activities to clear goals and measure target achievement. The company inspires their staff to passionately participate in activities and take responsibility for their own well-being, while the company health initiative is linked to the business and its culture.
The winner works with health and well-being in a strategic way and on an organisational level. To succeed with this, knowledge, courage, endurance and conviction that working with the health of both staff and the company is imperative.
